The APBC is an international network of experienced and qualified pet behaviour counsellors, who, on referral from veterinary surgeons, treat behaviour problems in dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, horses and other pets.



The Association of Pet Dog Trainers was founded in 1995 by John Fisher to offer pet dog owners a guarantee of quality when looking for puppy and dog training classes. All members have been assessed according to a strict code of practice and have agreed to abide by kind and fair principles of training. To this end the use of coercive or punitive techniques and equipment are not used. Only those trainers currently listed on the APDT website have been assessed and approved.

Devon Dogs is a small family-run business with a passion for dogs and a passion for Devon. They currently operate in and around Exeter and their central focus is agility, the fastest growing sport in the dog world. They also now cater for obedience, agility, puppy socialisation, puppy foundation agility and pet obedience.

This is the website for dog behaviourist Sally Jones, and dog trainer Leanne Smith. Sally is a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors. The PDSA is a national charity that has been helping pets in need for almost 100 years. The website gives information about the services they offer, ways that you can help with fundraising as well as information for pet owners.

This is a link to an American university website discussing a different way to take hip x-rays which should give a better prediction of whether a dog may get hip dysplasia than the standard x-ray views. This is a more expensive technique, but please feel free to ask us about the value of this especially for breeding animals.
