David Rudman BVSc MRCVS
is the Veterinary Surgeon here at Ark Vets. He qualified at Bristol University in 1987 and his particular interests include internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. He also enjoys training his rescue dog Rufus in obedience and agility.
Becci Gidley RVN
is the practice nurse and assists with surgical and hospitalised cases. She runs some free appointments as well as weight clinics, puppy parties etc. Becci owns an English Bull Terrier cross called Dooley, and also a Jack Russell called Margo.
Sarah Thompson BSc
worked for nearly 3 years full time on reception at Ark Vets, but is now working part time and also doing dog grooming for us. She owns 2 Springer Spaniels and is also busy working from home running her own Welsh Pony and Cob stud, grooming dogs and producing art work - amongst other things! Aimee Smith VN
qualified as a Veterinary Nurse but is currently working in the mornings on reception while studying for a degree in teaching (More to come including a photo soon).
Emma Collman
is an Animal Nursing Assistant who left us in April to further her training to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. We wish her well with her future training.

VACCINATIONS
We recommend annual vaccination for dogs, cats and rabbits. Please ask us for advice about what vaccines would be appropriate for your pet.
The Pet Passport Scheme has proved very popular and we ensure micro-chipping and vaccination is carried out as needed.

Our laboratory is well equiped with various facilities, machines and instruments, including:

GROOMING
There are no set prices for grooming, but a quote can be done prior to booking your dog in and after discussion of your requirements. We like to clip and groom to the owners requests. For example, most terriers requiring clipping to a traditional style are charged around £25.00 and spaniels a little more. Thicker, longer and/or more matted coats will be charged more than a regularly groomed and/or clipped dog and size of dog also relates to price so a Yorkshire terrier will cost a lot less than an Afghan hound! Located in Pinhoe, the practice is easily accessed from all parts of Exeter and from surrounding areas to the North and East of the city. Designated parking is available on-site at the rear of the building in the spaces marked "3", and on-road parking is possible in Harrington Lane.
